Thank You for Not Forgetting About Us

On May 3, Bill Holko began another Bible study for 12 inmates at Grafton Reintegration Center. Using a study guide by theologian John Stott, the class moved verse by verse through the letters of 1, 2, and 3 John. Bill continues to be impressed by the dedication of participants and by the depth and transparency of classroom discussions. He notes, “These guys are definitely into the Word, and their comments reflect serious study and deep insight.”

The main themes of this study were the foundational truth of the person and work of Jesus Christ, the necessity of standing on genuine biblical belief and faith, the pursuit of righteousness, and love for fellow believers. Here’s what inmates had to say:

“The letters of John are central in my foundation as a follower of Yahshua the Messiah. I recommend this study for all believers. A spiritual homerun!” - Inmate Ric White

“I am privileged and grateful to be part of this Bible study. It is refreshment to my soul and spirit, spiritual food most needed to focus on God’s will for my life. Thanks to Brother Bill Holko for being a servant of God who continues to contribute for the kingdom.” – Inmate Jesus A. Ruiz

“True Freedom’s Bible studies offer great insight into the Word of God for students who want to grow in Christ Jesus. Bill does a wonderful job teaching the class.” – Inmate Willie Brewster

“Thank God for another dynamic lesson by True Freedom, under the direction of Bill Holko with his humble and compassionate spirit. His sharing of the love of God is precious and uplifting. A community of faith helps us learn to love. Thank you all for not forgetting about us.” – Inmate Charles E. White

Please pray for these men to grow strong in Jesus. Thank you for your partnership in reaching these precious souls. Praise God for the fruit He is bringing forth in their lives.

Would you prayerfully consider making a monthly or one-time gift to help us meet and fulfill the mission to which God has called us?
