Compassionate Pursuit

At a time when shelters are full and the homeless population is increasing, True Freedom is responding to meet the needs of these precious souls. Serving approximately 700 men and women sheltered by Lutheran Metropolitan Ministries, TF provides socks, underwear, personal hygiene items, winter hats, gloves, donated clothing, winter coats, hot soup, and sandwiches to four facilities in Cleveland every week. In addition to helping those sheltered, True Freedom recently launched an effort to reach the unsheltered homeless. On a weekly basis, compassionate volunteers pursue those living on the streets, in their cars, in abandoned homes, and in camps. By hanging care packages near tent cities, TF distributes food and clothing to some of the most broken in our society. Please pray that God would be greatly glorified as His love shines through the Homeless Ministry. Pray that, as tangible gifts are received, men and women would make the Lord their dwelling place—the Most High their refuge (Psalm 91:9).
