Hope for a Brighter Future

At the Juvenile Justice Center, Chaplain Smith met with a 15-year-old facing 15 years in prison for being an accessory to murder; the trigger man was sentenced to 30 years in prison for murder. After receiving Christ, prayer, and reading the Bible, this young man gained hope for a better, brighter future. Peer pressure led him to get involved with a gang. Today he is sorry for this decision, and for hurting his mother. By God’s grace, this young man will continue to meet with Chaplain Smith and together they

will pray, read God’s Word, and talk about life together. Please pray for this young soul to grow in grace and love for our Savior.
