Filled with Joy in the Spirit
/Long time partner of True Freedom Ministries and owner of Impact Records in Nashville, the Mintz family graciously brought professional recording artist Tyler Conti to Grafton Correctional Institute for an unforgettable performance. This very special Christian concert included a surprise steak dinner for 180 inmates, also generously furnished by the Mintz family. True Freedom’s Executive Director, Mike Swiger, opened the event in prayer. David Mintz then spoke about his TMG Cares foundation. Nobody left hungry, and hearts were filled with joy in the Spirit. For the past three years, inmates at Grafton have been able to participate in Warden Keith Foley’s Fantasy Football league by donating a cosmetic or hygiene item to True Freedom’s homeless ministry. The banquet has been a way of thanking the men for sacrificially giving back to the community.
“To Warden Foley and all the guests and staff that came to this banquet, thank you from the bottom of my heart for making it one of the best events that I have attended. The food was great, and the music was awesome. God bless all of you.” -Inmate Ed M.
“My brother is at Grafton and he was very excited to tell me of your visit. Thank you for doing this. It meant more than you could ever know. – Peggy S.
“Thank you to everyone involved in Warden Foley’s Football Banquet. For a few hours it didn’t feel like I was in prison. God bless.” -Inmate Mike S.
