Feeding Families

“During these unprecedented times, True Freedom is seeking to meet the physical as well as the spiritual needs of those God has placed before us. Feeding needy families has to be a priority.” -Mike Swiger, Executive Director

True Freedom has joined forces with Premier ProduceOne to bring fresh fruits and vegetables to needy families in our city as part of the USDA Farms to Families Food Box program. Each week we distribute 216 boxes filled with apples, oranges, carrots, potatoes, onions, and celery. The food is delivered to Elizabeth Baptist Church, where a portion is distributed to the surrounding east side neighborhood. Additional boxes are given out at Refuge Community Church on the near westside of Cleveland. Finally, we bring the remaining food to The City Mission.

True Freedom is grateful for this opportunity to bring fresh, nourishing food to our neighbors, in Jesus’ name. Thank you, True Freedom Partners, for helping us to be the hands and feet of Jesus in this way.
