Back in Prison!

Since the pandemic lockdown, we have not been able to physically enter prisons or jails. But we have prayed and prayed. And God opened a door! Michael Swiger recently received a communication appealing to True Freedom to provide live programming using video conferencing. After working through some difficulties, we conducted our first successful live video session into Grafton Reintegration Center.

This interactive character development course, based on the book of Proverbs, is comprised of 4 modules, each containing 10 classes. Our facilitator is volunteer Tom Spernoga. Grafton Reintegration Center is now interested in setting up 2 additional sections of this course! We hope to get those up and running soon.

Please pray for us to have continued favor with Grafton and other institutions. After piloting this program for 30 days, we hope to expand this initiative across the state. May the love of Christ shine brightly through our volunteers and staff members as we build relationships with inmates and share truth from God’s Word.
