Juvenile Turns Himself In
/A young man who Chaplain Jimmy Smith lead to a personal faith in Jesus Christ at the Juvenile Justice Center, released on probation, moved in with his grandmother in Mentor and placed on house arrest.
One day he received a call from his mother, telling him that her boyfriend beat her up and kicked her out the house. Heart-sick over this call, he violated house arrest and went to his mother’s aid. He found his mother’s boyfriend, badly beat him up, then went on the run.
However, because of his newfound faith in Christ and the desire to get his life on track, this young man turned himself in. Now he will receive his GED at the Juvenile Justice Center, and he looks forward to learning to weld and working for Lincoln Electric.
Please pray for this young man that he would grow in grace as he follows the Lord Jesus!
