Family Days at Grafton Correctional Institution

Visiting an incarcerated loved one can be intimidating, especially for children. Dressed in prison attire with security guards standing by, prisoner parents may seem unapproachable. To create a more hospitable environment, True Freedom Ministries recently sponsored two Family Days at Grafton Correctional Institution.

150 inmates were permitted to have children and grandchildren spend the day with them participating in fun-filled activities. We hosted a puppet show, pumpkin painting, games, and food. GCI Deputy Warden Gillece expressed deep appreciation for all that TFM did to make this a meaningful time for inmates and their families.
