"Dreams Come True" by Stephanie Dellinger

Years ago, Mike Swiger and the True Freedom team envisioned an educational program for ex-offenders. This plan became reality with its launch in early 2019.  Just a couple of weeks ago these visionaries marked the close of the Microsoft IT certification program with a graduation ceremony. This event was brimming with stories from those celebrating a new lease on life.

TF client Deneik shared, “I am very grateful for this opportunity. I have always wanted to further my education but couldn’t afford it. I’m extremely excited about the material I’ve consumed in this course. As a felon, I never thought I would be able to again receive a free education.” 

Another client Deshondala wrote, “I am so grateful to have had this opportunity to make improvements in my life through the Microsoft IT certification course. I have not felt so capable & privileged in my life.” 

Lastly, my participation as the facilitator of this program has been a dream come true. Being a restored citizen myself (W087482), I share our clients’ feelings of joy, hope, and gratitude. I am so very thankful for everyone who has made this possible—most especially my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
