"Another Changed Life" By Inmate Joseph

Dear Mike,

You are my brother and mentor in the faith. I just wanted to thank you and also say a few other things as well.  You’ve had a huge impact on my life and walk with Christ. And you’ve shown me so much in these almost six years I’ve known you. God put you in my life for a few specific reasons. You’ve added to my vision, given me more reason to believe. You’ve inspired me to go further and push ever harder.  And you’ve given me an example to follow—A True Man of God. That is a rare find in here—or out there…but God placed me around you to see some things.

I give a lot of credit to you for my growth in Christ. We both know that all glory goes to Him, but it’s only fitting that I give honor where it’s due. You’re the man of God that I model myself after and the one that I allow to speak into my life. I just wanted you to know that. That every man of God requires a covering—and you are the one that I choose to cover me. I humble myself under your leadership and guidance. And I thank you for your many contributions into my life. I sow into your ministry because that’s my church. And I was once told to “sow into where I want to go.” Your ministry is my home, and I thank God for you, Mike. You have ever so blessed my life and my future. Thank you for your dedication and commitment, for your obedience to the Lord’s calling and His voice. I was “told” in my spirit to write these things down to you…so here I am. And I want you to know that I love you man! You gave me that hope that I couldn’t see, the inspiration that “this” wasn’t it. You brought the “light” into this darkness and then you showed me how to do the same. You have invested in me, and you’ll never know how much that means to me, Bro.

May you continue to increase in Christ more and more. I will be in constant prayer for you—covering you, because you are my covering. I willingly submit myself under your guidance and leadership. I just wanted you to know that. Bless you, Mike.
